We offer limited obstetrical ultrasounds at no cost to determine gestational age and if it is a viable pregnancy.
An Ectopic Pregnancy can be life threatening.
If it is left untreated an ectopic pregnancy can threaten life. This is when the baby implants in the fallopian tubes, where the embryo cannot safely continue to develop. This can be dangerous to the mother. An ultrasound will reveal where the baby is located and if further medical intervention is necessary.
An abortion would not be needed if an ultrasound revealed the woman has had a natural miscarriage.
